but I don't really need an extra hinge on the axe, fillers for the shoulder bits (I saw them as sort of like vents), or a minicon (if Wheelie and Daniel are anything to go by, small transforming figures are NOT DNA's forte). I mean, yeah, DNA does great hands and if I buy this kit it'll be for the hands. This is really the first time where I'm kind of hesitant to go in on it. I've bought the ones for Metroplex (really only used the hands, the slippers are kind of awful), Fort Max (the slippers work a little better here and the leg parts for Cerebros were good on paper, too bad the QC was crap, hands and crotch are good), all three for Scorponok (the gap fillers for the ankles cause more problems than they solve, but the rest of the first two kits are borderline essential and I do like the longer legs), the one for Black Zarak (because the Scorponok kits were so good), and the Ark (fixed all but one of my complaints with that one).

There were a few parts that ended up shifting molds right before tool start, so sadly the shoulder cannons could not be molded in the intended gun metal gray, and had to be molded with sections of the feet. Our 2022 version took the scale of this character to heart and set out to deliver this triple-moder at a whopping 22”! Metroplex is a modernization of the 2005 Cybertron figure based on the animation.The original toy was approximately 13 inches tall and aligned some great toy features to the animation. Sam Smith also shared some comments about Metroplex development: The videos feature the new “Legacy style” format seen in the Legacy Wreck N’ Rule Springer videos with a new colorful Legacy frame showing the CAD files of Metroplex in his 3 modes: Robot mode, “work” mode and alt mode.
